Professor Erno Rubik

• Rubik's Cube is a 3-D combination puzzle invented in 1974 by Hungarian sculptor and professor of architecture Erno Rubik.
• The cube comprises of 3 horizontal and 3 vertical layers. There are 8 pieces having 3 colors on them, 12 pieces having 2 colors and 6 center pieces which denote the color of each of their corresponding layers.
